Joe’s London Eye – Sunday

25 01 2009

Tomorrow is my last day in London before heading back to Liverpool. Albeit busy, this week has been a great opportunity to extend my skills and develop some really great work for a group of really nice people.

It’s funny how being taken out of your usual environment and put in a situation where things are expected at a moments notice can really help you develop as a person and in a professional capacity. I have a lot to thank Moving Brands for (once again) they have a great team spirit and I was made to feel very welcome. The project was finished to such fine detail across the board and things were considered that most wouldn’t even think of.

I’ve learned over the last 7 days that your ‘comfort zone’ is important, you need security and rest (it’s been really hard being away from Lucy for so long especially), but without treading water and putting yourself into uncomfortable situations to stretch yourself you’re really restricting everything that is waiting for you in life, missed opportunities, new friends and experiences all potentially going to waste. I think the future holds a lot for us all if we’re brave enough to go and get it.

The momentum that I’ve built up this year is gaining fast and I’m really excited about taking things further with Jojopops over the next months. Look out the particles are coming!
