Elvington Scarecrow Competition 2009

We were in Yorkshire this weekend visiting family and friends and were fortunate enough to catch the ‘Elvington Scarecrow Competition 2009′ which was actually a good laugh. The weather was really warm (a bit too warm for me to be honest) which made touring the town and scarecrow spotting a lot of fun. The winning scarecrow was of Thomas the Tank Engine but my favourite was a transformers scarecrow which was great. If you’re ever in the Elvington area then you should really get down to the Scarecrow festival – slightly random but a lot of fun! Take a look at the photos below…
